Women are emotional creatures and the feel angrier and more vulnerable than average men. Women cry all the time and men hardly cry. These are some of the major differences among men and women. |
However, there might be some other reasons in women that are causing excessive emotions like alteration in hormone levels. Sometimes women feel more tearful, angry and even have headaches and these are some symptoms caused by the decrease or increase in certain hormones.
These symptoms can also be accompanied with the lack of sexual drive in women. Today one of the most common problems for women is a loss of sexual desire. Every time during menstrual cycle women face increase or decrease in the levels of hormones.
The alteration in hormones can even happen while women are going through pre-menopause or post menopause. The main hormones that have an effect on ones sexual instincts are estrogen and progesterone. Menopause and menstrual cycles alter exactly these hormones and can cause sexual dysfunction in women too. However, it is very difficult to identify which hormone exactly has an effect on sexual drive for women. It has been noticed through several researches that the rise or fall in estrogen and progesterone could also cause the increase or decrease of sexual desire in women. Also, women vary largely because some women feel increased libido during their menstrual cycles while some feel decreased levels. It is possible that progesterone has a larger role to play in the sexual libido of a woman.
