Tips For Wheelchair Paraplegic Devotee

It may sound very weird to hear that paraplegic devotees exist in this world. A devotee is a person who is immensely attracted to a certain concept in general. Gods have devotees, big pop stars have devotees and many celebrities and politicians also have them.

However, a paraplegic devotee is a person who is very attracted to a paraplegic person and in spite of being normal, they live their life on the wheelchair and try to feel what the paraplegic is feeling.

However, the difference is the paraplegic devotee can at anytime change their mind and resume their real and normal life. A real paraplegic person does not have that option or luxury to do this.

Paraplegic devotees do try and live like a paraplegic and also imitate them in many ways. They also befriend only paraplegic. This behavior has been explained through psychology earlier and it was categorized as a disorder caused due to sexual instincts.

What do paraplegic devotes do? Most of the devotees live their life as paraplegics and remain on the wheelchair. They also attend the support groups meant for real-life paraplegics. While some of the paraplegics may get intimidated by this act of the devotees, seldom do people understand that it is a type of mental disorder affecting them. An overbearing sense of compassion might also cause the person to become a devotee. However, it is wrong to imitate a condition that a person does not have. A devotee can actually use their instincts and compassion in a more productive way by sponsoring a cause for the paraplegics.
