A growth resembling a little cauliflower with tiny black spots on the feet can be plantar wart. Plantar warts are considered to be benign tumors that are usually found on the soles of the feet. These warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). However, this strain is quite different from the one that causes genital warts. |
One can try natural remedies every night before bedtime to treat the warts. One should clean the affected foot well and soak it in warm water for a quarter of an hour. Then dry it well, and apply apple cider on it. The feet should be in a bandage through the night. The bandage should cover only the affected area. Some people try to freeze the warts by placing their foot in icy cold water for 15 minutes. It may be uncomfortable, but is said to be quite effective.
Another popular treatment is applying a paste of castor oil and baking soda. Regular application of this paste helps the wart to fall off. If one is ready to tolerate the pungent smell of garlic, then crush a clove and press it on the affected area with the help of a bandage. This is a cheap and cost effective remedy. Some people recommend using a banana peel instead of the garlic clove. This can only be done at night before going to bed. Others simply tape the wart with a duct tape till it falls off. This is the most easy and cheap remedy known so far.
These remedies may take days and some weeks for the entire infection to heal so one needs to be patient and be regular with the treatment.
