Dioxin is a kind of chemical and TCDD is a kind of toxic dioxin. There are known to be more than 200 forms of dioxin. Sometimes this component is used in various medicines with different levels of toxicity to treat certain disorders in the body. When dioxins are consumed by the human body, they behave differently when it comes to metabolism, absorption, distribution and binding with cells. |
However, excess of dioxins may be harmful for health and it is always used in relation to its toxicity. However, the combine effects of TCDD along with insulin are not known yet and much is left to the research.
Insulin is something that can be made using animals and also synthetic methods. How insulin reacts with TCDD depends a lot on which method was used to make it. Usually TCDD is harmful to human beings only when it is used in toxic levels otherwise it does not interfere with the body’s functionality much. Insulin is required for people who have below normal production of it in their body. Mostly people with diabetes and hypoglycemia have problems with insulin production in their body. Similar problems are also found in people who have thyroid.
Insulin is very important for the growth of the human body. If the production of insulin is below normal, then a person tends to put on more weight and the body’s metabolism decreases. In case the body is not making enough insulin required for daily functions, insulin can be given in the form of injections.
