Hypoglycemia is the term used to describe low blood sugar. Low blood sugar can be easily recognized with the symptoms exhibited. The most common symptoms are dizziness, excessive sweatiness, headaches, blurred vision, nervousness and anxiety. Some people may have this as a chronic condition while others may only have it due to excessive stress or fatigue on some particular day. |
The best way to manage this condition is by following a healthy diet and regular exercise. People with this condition cannot have a normal diet which includes sweets. They should completely avoid sweets and especially artificial sweeteners. Since their body has a problem with breaking down sugar they should eat smaller and frequent meals.
Some kinds of fruits are good for people with low blood sugar. Fruits contain natural sugars and among them bananas, apples, citrus varieties are usually considered good. The sugar contained in fruits is directly absorbed into the blood so it may not harm the person’s condition in any way. The ideal way to manage this condition is to have timely food and never to starve. Starvation may severely worsen their condition and it can easily cause dizziness and fatigue. Fruits like bananas provide ample stamina for people with low blood pressure between meals. Since the patients are already advised to take smaller meals, they can substitute some meals with fruits like bananas.
Also, a healthy diet plan is to have fibrous food and banana is also good on that count as it has a high fiber value.
