What Can I Do About Spider Veins Around My Nose ?

Facial veins are not linked to any health hazards but can cause a lot of embarrassment and discomfort. You can cover up the worst case of leg veins, but unfortunately the facial veins are visible for all to see.

 

These veins are dilated blood vessels that appear as thin-red, or slightly larger blue-green veins. These veins are categorized as spider veins or reticular veins and can appear on the nose, cheeks, forehead, eyelids, neck and upper chest. They are marked by a fine irregular pattern like a spider’s web.

The larger ones are found by the temples and the edge of the jaw.  Neither of these facial veins cause pain and are treated for cosmetic purposes. They are usually hereditary and are very rarely associated with rosacea and liver disease, or could be caused by sun damage or hormonal changes.
