Yoga helps to develop an awareness of sensations in the body. Many yoga postures increase blood flow to the pelvis and also strengthen the muscles that play a role in orgasm.
Sexual Yoga Exercises:Sukhasana -- Sit on mat with legs spread out in front. Bend one leg and place the heel under the opposite thigh. Do the same with the other foot. Sit cross-legged with erect spine. Place hands on respective knees, eyes closed, head poised and relax. One can remain in this position for 5-30 minutes. This leads to inner harmony.
Talasana -- Stand erect with feet apart. Raise one arm slowly to vertical position and rise on toes and inhale. Breathe in deep and stretch to the maximum. Then return to normal. Repeat with the other hand. It is a stretching exercise for the thorax and lower abdomen.
Chakrasana -- Stand with feet 20 inches apart. Raise the arms upward, fist tight, inhale and bend backwards, with abdomen forward. Interlace the fingers above head and pause for a few seconds. Bend forward with the head close to the knees and arms parallel to the legs and exhale. Remain in this position for a few seconds and reverse while inhaling. This exercises the spine and the mid trunk.
Upavista Konasana -- Sit on the floor with legs apart. Here the leg muscles get activated. Len the torso forward as far as one can go comfortably and remain in this position for 5 -10 deep breaths. This increases blood flow in the pelvic region.
Buddha Konasana -- Sit with the knees bent and soles of the feet touching. Hold on to the toes and lean the body forward over the legs and remain in this position for 5 to 10 deep breaths. This strengthens the uterus.
