What are statistics of uninsured American cost US? Studies have revealed that nearly 41 million Americans are medically uninsured. Lack of health care facilities to such a huge population is naturally bound to have serious repercussions on the society as a whole. Many Americans die because they did not have a medical coverage and many live under sick and dying conditions. Many Americans are forced to declare bankruptcy or sell their homes to pay for medical care. This shows the federal government’s complete lack of concern for the poor.

Lawmakers need to think about such important matters like what does lack of insurance to such a huge population mean to the standing of the country and in what way such disadvantaged people can contribute to the social and economic stability of the country.

The package should include preventive measures, diagnosis, treatment of chronic diseases and restorative services. Members of the congress are being invited and persuaded to participate and to take a lead in this initiative. The aim is to get constant attention of the lawmakers and to make the plight of the uninsured Americans a central issue of the American health care policy.
