Hyperthyroidsim is the signs and symptom of Thyroid problems. It is the sickness that cause from overactive thyroid gland. Thyroid hormones like Thyroxine (T4), Triidothyronine (T3), and Thyroid Stimulating hormone (TSH) are overly produced and circulated in blood stream. Thyroid hormones are produced by iodine, and they regulates important body functions such as metabolism, sleeping pattern, and many other fuctions.
The location of Thyroid gland is the front of the neck below the Adam’s apple. The shape of the gland looks like a butterfly, and it is wrapped around trachea ( windpipe ). It has two wings lobes attached by a middle part. See the thyroid gland trachea picture above.
What are symptoms of hyperthyroidism? The patient who has mild hyperthyroidism may not feel anything. Patients who are older than 70 years old may also show no symptoms. In general, the symptoms are usually increasing with metabolic rate. Here are some the symptoms.

- Irregular Period

What cause hyperthyroidism? The common causes are excessive iodine ' intake, Graves' Disease, abnormal secretion of TSH.
